Still We Rise Gala

On December 3, 2014, New Leaf Yoga Foundation is teaming up with successful Greater Toronto Area Moksha Yoga studios to support mindfulness and yoga-based life skills programs for youth who face barriers to accessing positive wellness-based resources.

Motivated by a belief in the strength and creativity of young people, Still We Rise is a gala event that will celebrate the fire of resiliency that burns bright in youth overcoming various forms of marginalization. Join us for a night that is sure to inspire!

New Leaf Yoga Foundation is a charitable organization offering yoga and mindfulness-based life skills programming to youth who experience various forms of marginalization, as well as a lack of access to supportive resources. The only organization of its kind in Canada, New Leaf Yoga Foundation has spent the last 7 years providing long-term programming for youth facing some of life’s harshest challenges, including poverty and community violence.
